Cardio Leg workout after a big Christmas meal :)

If you're like me, you enjoy holiday eating...a lot!  I'm a firm believer that this is ok to do as long as it's in moderation.  Here are few workouts to help you get through the holidays and push that food into your muscles.  :)  

 

LEGS:  Tri-Sets

 

This tri-set workout will allow more blood flow to the legs and increase the intensity...which means...more calories burned!  Perform each Triset 3 times through. 


Triset 1 (perform these exercises back to back to back with no rest in between exercises)
Leg Extensions  15 reps
Wide-Leg Jump Squats 15 reps
Burpees 10 reps

 

Triset 2
Barbell or Dumb bell Squats 15 reps
Front Squats 15 reps
Stiff-Legged Deadlifts 15 reps

 

Tri-Set 3
Leg Press 15 reps
Box Jumps 10 reps
Calf Raise on Leg Press 15 reps

 

Tri-Set 4

One-Legged Leg Press 15 reps (each leg)

Walking Lunges 10 reps (each leg)
Lying Hamstring Curl 15 reps
