What I ate today..

I get asked all the time what my diet looks like.  What DO I eat?  How many calories do I consume?  What does my macro breakdown look like?  Well, here is what I am eating today.  I would highly recommend downloading the "My Fitness Pal" app and loading your food into that every day.  That is the easiest way I have found to track exactly what I eat.  And, it's a FREE app

 

 

Breakfast:  

Tall Salted Carmel Mocha from Starbucks (YES!  I love my coffee...and I MAKE it fit my macros!)

1 Cup Chocolate Muscle Egg (130 cals, 25 g protein, 5 g carbs, 0 fat)

mixed with ISAGENIX natural chocolate meal replacement shake

 

Snack: 

1 cup apples & sweet potatoes (I chop these up, add some cinnamon and throw them in the crockpot to have for the entire week)

Whole grain Thinwich with 4 slices of Jenny O Turkey breast (& mustartd)

 

Lunch:

1 cup Turkey Chili (recipe posted under the "recipes" tab)

 

Snack: 

Blend together:  1 cup Chocolate Muscle egg, 1/2 banana, IsaPro Vanilla Whey Protein Powder, Chocoate PB2 and ice....OMG!  Amazing!!

 

Dinner:

Ground sirloin patty

3 oz. of sweet potato fries (about 22 pieces)

 

Here is what ALL of that broke down to:

Calories:  1,836

Protein:   %42

Carbs: %37

Fats: %21

 

I try to stick to my macros being as close to 40/40/20 as possible.  The key is to EAT!  And to know WHAT you're eating!
